Join us tomorrow at Paraiso Vineyards for Valentine’s Passport! We will be showcasing our Souzao Port with a mouthwatering assortment of cheese, desserts and even a chocolate fountain. This is always a favorite among our fans and we are so excited to be bringing this much loved indulgence back for this Valentine’s Day celebration. For those with less of a sweet tooth, you can make your way over to barbeque for freshly grilled tri-tip sliders. And don’t forget about our full line-up of Paraiso estate wines that will be available for tasting. You can even find time to fit a quick game of Cornhole Toss into your visit. Not sure what that is? Then you definitely have to come on by and join the festivities!

Valentine’s Passport on River Road Wine Trail

“Valentine’s Passport” is one of the most talked about events on River Road Wine Trail. For one day only, all fourteen vintners along the country back roads of south Monterey County will open their doors to hundreds of wine lovers looking to have an amazing day filled with wine, food and a celebration of all things amour. At Paraiso, we look forward to this event every year as it gives us the chance to spread the love to all our fans. Each winery along RRWT will be showcasing one of their favorite wines and hosting different wine and food pairings so there will be something new and different at every stop.

By popular demand, we will be featuring our luscious Souzao Port with an assortment of sweets and desserts that will surely wake up your taste buds. We will also be pouring our full line-up of Paraiso wines grown right on our Santa Lucia Highlands estate and offering special one day only discounts on our wines and items in the Boutique.

MEET THE CHEF AT PARAISO’S “PERFECT PAIRING” WINE DINNER

Paraiso’s very exclusive “Perfect Pairing” Wine Dinner is right around the corner. We are very excited to have the wonderful Chef Michael Jones working his magic and creating an entire meal to complement our Santa Lucia Highlands estate wines.

Chef Michael Jones is known for his amazing creations in the kitchens of A Moveable Feast Catering and the Cachagua General Store tucked away deep in the hills of Cachagua, 25 miles from the Carmel coast. To learn a little more about Jones, you can find a six-page spread featuring the Cachagua General Store in the recent Fall issue of Edible Monterey Bay, where you will not only learn about Jones’ journey to where he is today and an insight into his organic cooking style, but by the time you are done reading you will also know how to open a Champagne bottle with a saber.

If you have not hear about “Grappos” then you must take a minute and check this out! Grappos is a web-based search tool that helps you find your favorite wines locally! Here at Paraiso Vineyards we have found this tool to be extremely helpful to our customers and now our wine fans in thirteen states can search for Paraiso by city or zip code. Although you will not be able to find all of our wines since several of our “Single Vineyard Series” releases are not distributed, you will hopefully be able to find a Santa Lucia Highlands estate bottling of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay or Riesling in your favorite local wine shop or restaurant.
